Purpose of the platform

IWP Community Connections helps users discover and register for community activities associated with Invisible Wounds Project. Activities may be organized by IWP, members, community partners, or other identified organizers.

Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate registration and contact information and to update organizers when important information changes.

Registration, capacity, and waitlists

Registration does not always guarantee participation. An event may have capacity limits, payment requirements, eligibility requirements, deadlines, waivers, or waitlists. Organizers may correct errors, move participants between registered and waitlisted status, or close registration when necessary.

Payments and refunds

Event costs, payment deadlines, accepted payment methods, and refund rules are stated in the event listing or registration process. Unless an event-specific policy says otherwise, users are responsible for completing payment by the stated deadline.

Cancellations and changes

Activities may be changed, postponed, or cancelled because of weather, safety, participation levels, venue issues, organizer availability, or other circumstances.

Participant conduct

Participants are expected to act safely, respectfully, and lawfully. Harassment, threats, discrimination, violence, deliberate disruption, or refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions may result in removal from an activity or restriction from future participation.

Safety and personal responsibility

Community activities may involve travel, weather, water, physical exertion, tools, animals, vehicles, outdoor conditions, or other risks. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you and for following event instructions and safety requirements.

Medical and emergency situations

The platform is not a medical service, emergency service, or crisis service. In an emergency, call 911. The IWP help line listed on the site is not a 24-hour crisis line.

Technology availability

The platform is provided on an as-available basis. Features may be updated, interrupted, corrected, or discontinued.

Privacy

Use of the platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised as the platform and Community Connections program evolve.
